Indigenous Nations, whether Tribes in the United States or First Nations in Canada, are sovereign governments. Their sovereignty includes the inherent authority to govern their lands, create laws, and manage economic development. Gaming enterprises, including casinos, emerge from this inherent right to achieve self-determination. Our pasts are similar in gaming, so we'll explore how to move forward together for the future of gaming. Learn what is on the horizon for First Nations participating in gaming and what lessons can be shared by Tribes since the passage of IGRA
