NIGC Chairman E. Sequoyah Simermeyer will discuss the policies and procedures available to Tribes under IGRA to pursue regulatory independence for their Class II operations. Topics include an overview of NIGC’s role in class II gaming, plus information and with recent examples of these regulatory options: alternate standards and waivers; certificate of self-regulation; and secretarial procedures.
