Brie Coyle Jones
Brie Coyle Jones is a partner at Miller Nash LLP and leads the firm’s nationally recognized tribal governments & enterprises team. A highly regarded leader in the field, she is regularly recognized for her work, including in The Best Lawyers in America® in Seattle, WA for Gaming Law and Native American Law, and was named “Lawyer of the Year” in Native American Law for 2026, reflecting her depth of experience and reputation for excellence in this complex and evolving area.
Brie provides strategic counsel on complex gaming matters. She has negotiated numerous gaming compacts, along with key amendments addressing modernization initiatives, tribal lottery systems, sports wagering, and electronic table games. She regularly advises clients on gaming compact compliance.
A registered lobbyist in Washington State, Brie has coauthored significant state legislation, including House Bill 2638 (2019–2020), which legalized sports wagering in tribal casinos. In addition to her gaming and regulatory work, she advises tribes, tribal enterprises, and lenders on complex financing transactions supporting infrastructure development, gaming facilities, and resort properties.
Brie is a descendant of the Quileute Nation.
