Cynthia Hays
Cynthia Hays is the BSA/AML Compliance Officer and Director of Compliance for FireKeepers Hotel Casino located in Battle Creek Michigan. She is responsible for all facets of regulatory compliance, including both brick and mortar and internet gaming and sports betting. Cynthia has been in the gaming industry for more than 25 years, spending most of that time in regulatory and operational compliance. She started as a paralegal in the Harrah’s Law Department and moved into different roles with increasing responsibility throughout her career. She has experience in both commercial and tribal gaming and with both established gaming companies and start-ups. Cynthia worked on both the supplier side and operator side of the business – with roles at Harrah’s/Caesars Entertainment, WMS Gaming, Scientific Games, JACK Entertainment, and Betfred Sports. She has a passion for Tribal Gaming and is honored to be working for the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Pottawatomi Indians at FireKeepers.
