Gabe Benedik
Gabe Benedik brings a wealth of experience and expertise in compliance to his role as Senior Executive, Government Affairs at GLI. With over 16 years in the gaming industry, Gabe has a deep understanding of critical areas such as audit, compliance, casino operations, state and tribal regulations, and internal control standards. He is known for his ability to build strong relationships with regulators, casino operators, and gaming manufacturers.
In his current role, Gabe plays an integral part in the Government Regulatory and Affairs team, where he expertly guides clients through the complexities of new jurisdictions, markets, and delivery channels, ensuring successful market entries and regulatory compliance.
Prior to joining GLI, Gabe had a distinguished 12-year career with the state of Florida’s Department of Business and Professional Regulation, now the Florida Gaming Control Commission. He culminated his tenure as the Chief of Slot Operations, overseeing all commercial gaming in Florida. His previous roles included Slot Operations Manager, Lead Auditor, Auditor III, and Slot Operations Specialist, showcasing his progressive expertise and leadership in regulatory compliance.
