Germaine Yazzie is T’otsohnii (Big Water Clan), born for Tsi’naajinii (Black Streak Wood People), maternal grandfather is Ta’neeszahnii (Tangle People) and paternal grandfather is Kinyaa’aanii (Towering House Clan). Originally from the Navajo Reservation in Northern Arizona, Germaine is Diné and brings both professional expertise as well as lived experience to her role. Germaine serves as the lead Program Manager for Project DreamCatcher, a business development program created by the Freeport-McMoRan Foundation in partnership with Thunderbird School of Global Management to build the capacity of Native American women business owners. She is deeply committed to advancing Indigenous leadership/entrepreneurship and is honored to support Indigenous women entrepreneurs through Project DreamCatcher.

Germaine brings a background in finance, systems improvement, and program coordination, along with a passion for building meaningful relationships and supporting community-centered initiatives. She has partnered with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to strengthen processes and ensure programs operate with clarity and integrity.
