Juan Sanchez is a seasoned law enforcement professional with 23 years of experience in both local and tribal jurisdictions. Throughout his career, he has served in various Police departments, including the MSJC College Police Department, Ellsworth Police Department, San Bernardino Police Department, and currently, the Pechanga Tribal Ranger Department.
Juan has held specialized roles throughout his career, including serving on the Quality of Life Team, the Gang Task Force, and as a Field Training Officer (FTO). He is also a member of the Southern California Outlaw Motorcycle Gang Association (SCOMGA), serving as the Riverside representative.
Juan is considered a subject matter expert in organized crime, human trafficking, and Missing and Murdered Indigenous Persons (MMIP) and has trained over 200 law enforcement professionals at both the local and federal levels.
In 2025, Juan transitioned from his role as the lead investigator for the Pechanga Gaming Commission (PGC). Now, serving as California's only dedicated MMIP investigator, he is proactively leading the charge in Southern California for MMIP justice.
