Mary Jane Oatman is a member of the Nez Perce Tribe and currently serves as the Executive Director of the Indigenous Cannabis Industry Association (ICIA) and founder of the Indigenous Cannabis Coalition (ICANNC). She is dedicated to advocating for Indigenous cultures and restoring traditional economies in hemp and cannabis. Oatman's work includes promoting the exploration, development, and advancement of the cannabis industry for the benefit of all Indigenous communities. She is also a traveling culture and events photographer, capturing special moments with plants and people. Oatman's extensive background includes serving on the National Advisory Council on Indian Education and holding board positions with various organizations. Her commitment to Indigenous leadership and cannabis reform is evident in her efforts to empower and connect Indigenous communities through policy, programming, and outreach initiatives.
